White Ribbon Day – Domestic Violence – Tell your story

The Bathurst Domestic Violence Liaison Committee is an organised group of service providers delivering assistance to all people experiencing difficulties with Family Domestic Violence. The Committee actively supports White Ribbon Day activities.

An invitation is offered to all those who have an inspirational story about how they have lived with their domestic violence experience.

Generous prizes will be on offer and donated by a number of businesses in Bathurst. An independent panel of up to three judges will decide on the winners and prizes will be presented at an organised function in White Ribbon Day Week during November – December 2006.

Writing about your experience is a recognised way to help yourself through a difficult time. Remember you will be helping yourself and others who have had similar difficult times with this debilitating and unacceptable experience. Assistance with your story will be provided upon request.

Closing date of competition is 15th October 2006
