Pit Complex Garage Sale Feb 11

The doors will be thrown open at the now completed Pit Complex at Mount Panorama on Saturday 11 February for the annual Community Open Day and Garage Sale.

Reduce Reuse and Recycle will be the theme for the day as the Bathurst community is invited to share their trash and treasure by taking a stall on the day.

The pit garages will be opened up for stall holders with the aim of the event being to encourage residents to reduce their waste, reuse what they can and think about recycling what is left.

The event will also be the first opportunity the general public will have to see the $24 million completed pit complex which is being developed as a year round tourism and conference centre.

Bathurst Mayor Cr Norm Mann is encouraging residents to sign up now to be part of the event.

“Now is the time to start cleaning out the garage and sorting through the back shed so you to can be part of this special event.

Food and entertainment will all be part of the fun.

“It’s a great morning out for the family, take the chance to wander through the entire complex, take a tour around the historic circuit and see the improvements right up to the top of McPhillamy Park – you may even grab a bargain!.”

To book a stall at the Garage Sale contact Danielle Keech at the Mount Panorama Event Office on 6333 6158.
