What is your day job?:
I work in the power industry.

How long have you lived in Bathurst?:
Since 1979 but I now live in Portland (God’s country)

What does Bathurst need to make it a better place?:
More roundabouts! and more non smoking music venues.

Which pubs/clubs do you frequent the most, and why?:
Warpstanza Gallery because it has such a wide range of stuff to listen to.

What sport/group activities are you involved in?:
Um, I ride my Bike to work. Does that count?

Do you play an instrument, and what is it?:
Guitars, Bass, Keys, and I’ll have a go at just about anything. (useless on drums though)

What is your favourite style of music?:
Sciencefolktion! ie: lots of different stuff so long as it is honest!

what radio station do you listen to the most?:
Sorry, but I don’t really listen to the radio at all.

What new music are you listening to at the moment that excites you?:
Vapour Trails by Rush. Rush have been around since the 70s but rarely sound stale.

What are your Top 5 albums of all time?:
Hergest Ridge, Mike OldfieldHeavy Horses, Jethro TullYear of the Cat, Al StewartOxygene, JarreGoing for the one, YesBut my choises may be different if you asked me tommorow (except for Hergest Ridge)

What would you do to change the music industry for the better?:
Ban market manipulation and image driven music (I believe music should be heard and not just a sound track for an expensive film clip)

When you were younger, did you used to do silly things like play the tennis racket in front of the mirror or sing into a deoderant can?:
No but I was often found hiding inside head phones listening to somthing. or when everyone else would listen to the main melody of a tune I would hum to some far off sub melody. Every one else thought I was just out of tune!

They say you need luck and to be in the right place at the right time to break into the ‘Music Scene’. What else do you think you need?:
Unfortunately it seems you need to look good. Image is important, Talent is optional.

What local band, both past and present is the greatest in your eyes?:
Cockys Joy (but I’m biased) or any other band that had Tony Denmead in it!

Who do you think should have won Australian Idol 2004?:
I liked Channel but Casey won it fair and square!

Where would you like to be and doing what in 10 years?:
Not working in a power station!

What’s you claim to fame?:
Own too many instruments?

When you pass away, how would you like people to remember you?:
I guess I hope My kids think that I was a good parent.
